A Little Bit About: Take That

The UK's original boyband, Gary, Howard, Jason, Mark and Robbie were one of the biggest musical forces of the '90s and heartthrobs to millions of people across the world. Formed in the wake of New Kids On The Block's success, Take That's huge international prosperity, in turn, proved the inspiration for other brilliant boybands such as Boyzone and Westlife.

Although their disco-inspired debut record, Take That & Party, was received with glow sticks and dancing feet, the boys didn't reach significant levels of international fame until the release of Everything Changes in 1993, and Nobody Else in 1995. Between them, these premier pop albums spawned seven no.1 hits, a vast world tour, and insured that Take That became one of the biggest pop acts on the planet.

However, their greatest achievement was ultimately also their downfall, as Nobody Else proved to be their final release as a quintet. The departure of Robbie Williams ultimately led to the band disbanding several months later, leaving millions of fans distraught.

Everything changes though, and as we all know Take That have returned almost ten years later to relight the fire and tour the world once more! Following the success of their comeback album, Beautiful World, Take That have released The Circus, their most complete record to date, prompting the fastest-selling UK tour in history! Will they be back for good? Let's hope so!

I have always loved Take That, and there circus tour which i went to at Wembley Stadium on the 1st of July was just, well.. WOW!

Non-stop entertainment all night. Great for all age groups. They've themed it as a circus, and on there song 'the garden' they have an animated elephant which is real but it's like 'HOW?!' lol.

I enjoyed it so much, that we tried to book it again, but we couldn't because Wembley Stadium was there last venue before there tour ended, and plus it was only left with tickets on dodgy sites. Hopefully they'll do another tour next year, and like they have been doing every year.. getting better!

A must see concert!

I have to say, I love there 90's stuff, beautiful world was great,
THE CIRCUS.. pure genius.
I saw them June 17th Millennium Stadium, the whole intro to them joining the stage, the whole circus, the vocals, the pyro, the stage.. the rain on back for good, everything was just unbelievable!
I would be so, so surprised.. if I saw or heard of a better concert, REALLY.

Oh man the most fantastic concert EVER saw it in Coventry and then just had to go again in Manchester and if I could would go again in Wembley. Its like a Concert, show and circus all rolled into one TT certainly know how to please their fans. I dont think any band will ever top this. I just did not want it to end and how awesome was that elephant what a brilliant idea...All the songs fit perfectly into every act its hard to pinpoint a favourite moment as there was just too many. I just cant wait until their next tour. If you have not seen this show buy tickets before it ends its a must....I will certainly be buying the DVD come Christmas on Play.com...
